Protergium participated in the 4th Pan-American Bioinputs Forum, held in San José, Costa Rica, as part of Bioinputs Americas Week 2026. The event brought together representatives from across the agricultural and biotechnology sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the development, commercialization, and adoption of bioinputs in the Americas.
Organized within the framework of the Hemispheric Bioinputs Platform, the forum was led by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and Costa Rica’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), in collaboration with organizations including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Central American Agricultural Council, the Alliance of Bioversity International–CIAT, FAO, and CIRAD.

As part of Block 3: “From Science to Business: Real Pathways to Develop, Scale and Reach the Market,” Protergium presented the talk:
“Research, Development and Strategic Partnerships: How to Generate Viable Biosolutions for Producers.”
The presentation focused on Protergium’s experience in developing biological solutions for agriculture and highlighted the different elements required to transform scientific innovation into viable solutions for producers.
